Danica Radovanović je kandidat na doktorskim studijama iz oblasti digitalnih komunikacija i društvenih medija, na Beogradskom univerzitetu i Oxford Internet Institutu, Oxford, gde istražuje komunikativne performanse u društvenim mrežama u Srbiji.
Danica radi u Ujedinjenim Nacijama na projektima EU-UN iz oblasti tehnologije, nauke, i razvoju semantičkog veba.
Poznata kao web aktivistkinja i konsultantkinja u oblasti društvenih online medija, eLearning sistema, Danica je pionir u razvoju prve mejling liste (listserv) u akademiji u 90-im, e-magazina početkom 2000-ih, prvog institucionalnog naučnog bloga u Srbiji.
