Old gravestone @ Kiskőrös, Hungary

Belgrade, Blogroll, World wide, culture, general, internet, media, photography — Danica @ 12:00 am, February 27, 2007

Awhile ago, I recieved ‘thank you’ email from a friend -pro.photographer who is traveling around the globe (among to Serbia, and to Hungary as well). Few weeks ago he asked me to translate the inscription. that was written on the old gravestone in old Slavic language. I am not hungarian or slovak, but this old gravestone is from Medieval village, written in Cyrillic and here’s the result. Very interesting!

I am hopefully managing = multitasking, publishing the book is on the hold while i’m hardly finding the time to modificate and change the nameservers for the domain, doing both hardware and sofware work. But, I was almost to forget that besides huge ‘to-do’ list, the FEST starts in 3 days, and the guest of honor (among other guests) of the International Film festival in Belgrade, will be director Bob Rafelson, known for Five Easy Pieces .Program of the Fest can be downloaded here.

Serbs - very rich people thanks to M$

Belgrade, Blogroll, Serbia, World wide, culture, general, internet, media — Danica @ 2:26 pm, February 8, 2007

This is the story how Serbs became very rich nation, especially huge organizations, Ministries of Tax Documentation, Communication Departments, big Media Houses, Executive groups and Foreign companies (without naming here in public) which employees are involved in this story. This morning I got email from a friend who lives and works in Florida (email-M$ chain swam the ocean?) who forwarded me this message that someone else frwded to him, and to the other person, and it goes so deep that the chain of this email is very long. What is this hoax about? In Serbian written:

Ja sam pravnica i poznajem zakon.

B.Gates
upravo brani svoje bogatstvo.
Microsoft i AOL upravo
eksperimentiraju njime pomocu e-mailom poslatim tekstom (e-mail beta
test).
Ako ovu postu posaljete prijateljima, Mikrosoft ce moci slijediti
njezin trag dva tjedna.

Posto sam ovim zavrsio njemacki prijevod i poslao Vam ovu poruku,

Ja sam probao, probajte i Vi!
Jednostavno pritisnuti “Forward” i poslati sto vecem broju primaoca

—————————————————————————

In short, in English: M$ company with BGee, is ‘defending his fortune by experimenting with beta email test system (M$ & AOL). According to this chain email, M$ pays 245 euros to each person who do frwd that email, and for each person that you’ve sent that fwrd - M$ pays you 243 euros etc as the chain grows.” The lawyer who started ‘the story’ and other people who ‘followed the instructions’: wrote testimonies as they ‘received M$ money’ after 2weeks. It was payment check of, e.g., 24 800 euros (per person). Now, you know how Serbia is very prosperous country with very high rate standard and (un)employancee. Also, interesting world ranking review of the other countries as well here.
